WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • investigation into the state of impact on human being (infrasonic and ultrasonic noise, mechanical vibrations)
  • determination of risk, connected with work in conditions of hazard relating to noise or mechanical vibration impact
  • development of prevention systems for employees, subject to the impact of different kinds of noise or mechanical vibrations
  • working out of computer programs constituting assistance to industrial safety service activities
  • development of work safety management systems, taking into consideration vibro-acoustic hazards

DOMESTIC AND EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT - NOISE:

  • investigations into the impact of traffic and/or industrial noise intensity in wide areas
  • performing of acoustic maps using the GIS and GPS methods
  • performing of assessment opinions relating to the impact of industrial plants, traffic routes, municipal economy objects etc., on the environment with respect to vibro-acoustic hazards (visual presentation in the form of computer maps)
  • eleboration of vibro-acoustic predictions for investments and modernized objects at different realization stages
  • design of road acoustic baffles
  • in situ investigations into the efficiency of shielding in areas protected by acoustic baffles
  • investigations into the state of impact of noise on people inhabiting apartment buildings, public buildings etc., originating from sources localized in those buildings or apart from them

BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES - MECHANICAL VIBRATIONS:

  • investigations into the state of impact of mechanical vibrations, transferred through the foundation, on the constructions of buildings and structures
  • investigations into the state of impact of mechanical vibrations, transferred through foundations and building constructions, on people inhabiting buildings
  • investigations into the state of impact of vibrations on machinery supporting constructions in mine tower-type headgears

INVESTIGATIONS USING VIBRATION INDUCTOR:

  • investigations into the resistance of technical objects to vibrations in conformity with the requirements determined by the customer
  • investigations into the resonance frequency of technical objects
  • investigations into the efficiency of vibro-insulating systems for car seats, seats of operators of transporting/working machines etc
  • investigations into the impact of mechanical vibrations on people in the framework of research projects

MACHINERY ACOUSTIC ACTIVITY:

  • measurement of sound power levels of machines, technical devices using the survey method in conformity with the PN-EN ISO 3746:1999 standard
  • measurement of noise emitted by machinery at a work station in conformity with the PN-EN ISO 11200 to 11204 standards

SOUND INSULATION PERFORMANCE:

  • determination of sound insulation performance of cabins, in conformity with the PN-EN ISO 11957:2000 standard
  • measurement of sound insulation performance in buildings, in conformity with PN-EN ISO 140-4:2000, PN-EN ISO 717-1:1999, PN-B-02151-3:1999 standards

METROLOGY OF DEVICES FOR NOISE AND MECHANICAL VIBRATION MEASUREMENTS:

  • calibration: sound level meters, acoustic calibrators, band filters, vibrometers, vibration transducers, vibration calibrators
  • checking of devices for machinery vibration diagnostics

THERMO-VISUAL TECHNIQUE, INFRARED TECHNIQUE:

  • investigations into thermo-insulation performance of walls of buildings, structures and pipelines for heating purposes
  • investigations into the thermal state of industrial waste dumping sites, especially mining-related, and coal heaps
  • investigations into the thermal state of machinery, technical devices including devices for the power engineering sector, devices of the horizontal mine transport
  • examinations of people for the needs of medical diagnostics
  • early detection of spontaneous fires in underground mines by means of pyrometers
