The Central Mining Institute participated in The World Exhibition of Inventions, Research and New Technologies BRUSSELS INNOVA 2016 held on 17-19 November 2016, and was awarded two gold medals for:
- “Probe for measuring high-speed vibration rock burst in underground mining excavation”
- “Probe for rock caverns scanning”.
