FT-IR Fourier transform infrared spectrometer

Spectrometer for infrared spectrum measurements of solids (in the form of powders or HDPE or KBr pellets), liquids and gases in the full infrared spectral range: near-IR, mid-IR and far-IR. Enables spectrum measurements by means of transmission spectroscopy, attenuated total reflectance (ATR) and diffuse reflectance (DRIFT). A high-temperature reaction chamber with a temperature controller enables the measurement of infrared spectra under controlled temperature conditions ranging from ambient temperature to 750°C (or 900°C in vacuum) as well as in a controlled gaseous atmosphere or in vacuum. A high-pressure ATR module is used for measuring solid and liquid samples within a range of 10,000-55 cm-1. A 0.75 dm3-volume gas cuvette enables measurements in the mid-infrared range of 4000-400 cm-1 with variable optical path length from 1.5 m to 8 m. The spectrometer is controlled by means of the OMNIC 9 software and includes extensive spectrum libraries.

Quantitative analysis, i.e. determining substance content in the analysed sample, or qualitative analysis to identify the analysed chemical substance or to identify functional groups and bonds present in the analysed sample.

Chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, environmental engineering. Solid, liquid and gas sample analysis.
